The 16th Century Reformation that transformed Europe from feudalism to religious freedom, democracy and free market enterprise never reached Russia. With the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, a group of Russian evangelical pastors, led by Peter Sautov, began planting new churches with the goal of evangelizing their nation. Recognized by the Russian government as the Russian Center for Church Multiplication, RCCM has planted 48 churches to date.
Peter, his wife , Luba, and their two sons have visited with us at Trinity a number of times. They deeply appreciate our support and prayers.
